A customer, in Cardiff CF14, rang City Locksmiths Cardiff because they couldn’t unlock their uPVC patio doors. We arrived within an hour to assist with their broken uPVC door lock. The first job was to gain entry without any damage to the door. Having had extensive training in how to pick locks without causing damage, this was completed quite quickly. Please be very wary of locksmiths that can’t offer this service, as they will cause you a lot of added expense if they say they need to drill the lock out!
Having gained entry and checked the lock, it was clear to see that the locking mechanism parts were old and faulty. We advised the customer and then carried out a full door lock upgrade, supplying and fitting a new, multipoint mechanism with handles, and a Snapsafe cylinder with 5 keys.
I’m pleased to say this was another professional uPVC lock repairs job successfully completed by City Locksmiths Cardiff, which left our customer very happy.
